Neither of them are particularly ‘berry’ shades, in fact Roseberry is a pink almost-nude on me and Very Berry is a warm mid-tone pink. Both are beautiful creamy shades that dispense a lot of pigment on the lips in one swipe. Due to their creamy nature, they are not the most long wearing (reapplication will be needed after eating). Nevertheless, they make up for this by being quite moisturizing. Having the SPF of 16 doesn’t hurt either! I’m only 21 and therefore do not have many/any wrinkles at this point so I cannot attest to its anti-aging properties, but these lipsticks do give the slight illusion of fuller lips due to the shine they impart. The packaging is beautiful in its simplicity. It is a sleek black square shaped bullet with Sonia Kashuk written in white on one side. Yet it is the fact that they have the exact colour shown on the top of the lipstick that really impressed me. For lipstick junkies, this is very helpful to see what colour the lipstick is (especially if one has multiple in the same line). Last, but not least, the inside of the lipstick is embossed with the SK logo – Roseberry on the top of the lipstick bullet and Very Berry on the front which looks very chic.
Roseberry has quickly become of of my every day favourites! I look forward to trying out more Sonia Kashuk products in the future (I’ve got my eye on the Shine Luxe Sheers)!
